Privacy Policy

Poker Feud for iPhone, iPad and Android · Effective

The short version

  • Poker Feud does not collect any personal data. The app has no network access at all: no analytics, no crash reporting, no ads, no in-app purchases, no accounts and no tracking.
  • Your progress is saved in a file on your device and never leaves it.
  • The only personal data we ever handle is what you choose to send us by email, and we use it only to answer you.

1. Who we are

Poker Feud is published by GTO Solutions AS (org. no. 935 325 579), Fredrik Meltzers gate 13B, 5007 Bergen, Norway (“we”, “us”). We are the data controller for the limited personal data described in this policy.

This policy covers the Poker Feud app for iPhone, iPad and Android, and this website.

2. What the app stores on your device

So that you can pick up where you left off, Poker Feud keeps a save file in the app’s own storage on your device. It contains:

  • your play-money bankroll;
  • your career progress;
  • your statistics against the AI rivals;
  • your settings.

The save file never leaves your device. The app has no way of sending it anywhere, and we cannot see, access or restore it.

You stay in control of it:

  • It is removed when you delete the app.
  • You can clear your progress at any time in the game under Settings › Reset progress.

The save file may be included in your device backup depending on your device settings (for example iCloud or Google backups). Such backups are handled by Apple or Google under their own terms, not by us.

3. What the app does not do

Poker Feud has:

  • no network access: it never connects to the internet, and the Android version does not even request the internet permission;
  • no analytics;
  • no crash reporting tools;
  • no advertising;
  • no in-app purchases;
  • no accounts or sign-in;
  • no tracking of any kind;
  • no third-party software development kits (SDKs) that collect data.

This means we do not collect, sell or share any personal data through the app.

4. Device features

The game may use your device’s vibration (haptics) for feedback during play. This does not involve any personal data.

5. Data processed by Apple and Google

You get Poker Feud from Apple’s App Store or Google Play. When you browse the store, download the app or use your device, Apple and Google may collect data under their own privacy policies. They do this as independent companies, not on our behalf and not through the app. For example:

  • Both stores give developers aggregated statistics such as the number of store page views and downloads.
  • If you have chosen to share crash and usage data with app developers on your iPhone or iPad (Apple’s “Share with App Developers” setting), Apple may give us crash reports and aggregated, anonymised usage statistics.
  • If you have chosen to share usage and diagnostics data with Google on your Android device, Google Play may give us aggregated, anonymised crash and performance statistics (Android vitals in the Google Play Console).

We only use this information to fix bugs and improve the game. It does not tell us who you are. To learn more, or to change your choices, see the Apple Privacy Policy and the Google Privacy Policy, and the privacy settings on your device.

6. This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no scripts, analytics or trackers. Its pages are delivered by Google’s Firebase Hosting service which, like any web server, has to process technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages and keep the service secure.

Links to other websites (for example the help services on our support page) take you to sites with their own privacy policies.

7. Support emails

If you email us at info@gtogecko.com, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, your message and anything you choose to attach, such as your device model or a screenshot.

  • Purpose: to answer you and, where relevant, fix the problem you reported.
  • Legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering your enquiries and supporting our game (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR).
  • Retention: we keep support correspondence only as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry, and then delete it, normally no later than 12 months after our last exchange.
  • Sharing: we do not sell your emails or use them for marketing. They are stored with our email service provider, which handles them on our behalf.
  • Deletion: you can ask us to delete your emails at any time.

Please don’t send us sensitive personal information you don’t need to.

8. Children

Poker Feud contains simulated gambling and is rated for adults (17+ or 18+, depending on the store). It is not directed at children under 13, or under 16 in the European Economic Area (EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone, including children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data by email, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you have rights over your personal data:

  • EEA and UK (GDPR and UK GDPR): the right to access your data, have it corrected or erased, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive it in a portable format.
  • California (CCPA, as amended by the CPRA): the right to know what personal information we collect, and to have it deleted or corrected. We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use sensitive personal information. We will never treat you differently for exercising your rights.

Because the app collects nothing, there is no app data for us to access, correct or delete: your save file stays on your device, under your control. The only personal data we may hold about you is any support email you have sent us.

To exercise your rights, email info@gtogecko.com. We will reply within one month (or within 45 days where the CCPA applies). We may ask you to write from the same email address so we can confirm the emails are yours.

10. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we handle your personal data, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority. In Norway, where we are established, that is the Norwegian Data Protection Authority (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.no. You can also contact the authority in the country where you live or work.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy, for example if a future version of the game adds new features. We will publish the updated policy on this page with a new effective date. If a change affects how we handle personal data in a significant way, we will also point it out in the app’s release notes before the change takes effect.
